Now is the time for you to pack your bags and head to “Good To Go” located in the community of Old Florida Village! This community consists of 75 homes nestled among brick pathways and lush tropical vegetation. Conveniently located in Santa Rosa Beach, you can drive, hike or bike down Scenic 30-A to Locally owned Shops, Restaurants, and Galleries of nearby Grayton Beach, Watercolor, and Seaside. Within walking distance are the beautiful sugary white sands of the South Walton beaches and the Shops, Restaurants and Outdoor Concerts at Gulf Place. Head west and you arrive at the Silver Sands outlet stores, spend the day at the Village at Baytowne Wharf or continue on to the heart of Destin for fishing, food or nightlife.
This cottage features three Bedrooms and two and one half Baths. The Front, Back and Balcony Porches invites you to curl up with a good book, or take a nap in the Florida Breeze!
Enjoy cooking in a fully equipped kitchen or outside grill. Sleeping accommodations include: King in Master Bedroom (with sitting area and master bath), Queen in Second Bedroom, Twin Beds in Third Bedroom, and Queen Sleeper Sofa in Living Room. In addition to your access to the beach, you will have two pools to choose from and two bikes! You’ll also have wireless broadband internet access…just bring your laptops, smart phones and tablets!

January to Memorial Day: $350 per night (3-day minimum)
Memorial Day through the first week of August: $499 per night (7-day rentals only)
Second week of August through December: $350 per night (3-day minimum)
Subject to cleaning fee of $260, lodging tax of 11% and pet fees as applicable.
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
Do you supply beach chairs or umbrellas?
We keep a supply of beach chairs in the outside cottage storage. There are numerous beach chair/umbrella rental services in the area..
How many people can the cottage sleep?
Good to Go Cottage has Three Bedrooms. Master Bedroom contains a King Bed with a Sitting Area and Private Master Bathroom. Second Bedroom has a Queen Bed and shares a Bathroom with the Third Bedroom, which contains Twin Beds. There is also a Sleeper Sofa in the Living Area so that the cottage can sleep a Total of 8 People.
Is the cottage on the beach?
No, the cottage is not directly on the beach. The Good To Go cottage is part of a community of 75 homes known as Old Florida Village. The development is approximately 500 yards from the beach with access at two different points.
Is there a view of the Gulf?
No, the community is not Gulf View.
Is there adequate parking?
There is a parking pad in front of the cottage where three cars can park. Neighborhood also has two overflow parking areas.
Do we need to bring linens or kitchen supplies of any sort?
Linens and towels are provided. We do ask that you bring beach towels for your use during your stay. If you are staying with us for an extended period, we do have a washer and dryer for your use.
Is there a pool?
Yes, we share the use of two pools with the other 74 homes in the community. Our cottage is 5 or 6 houses away from the pool… close enough for easy access, but far enough away that the pool activities aren’t outside of your window.
Are there any conveniences nearby?
Yes, there are grocery stores, video stores, banks, various restaurants, liquor stores, fish markets bike rentals and retail shopping within a short distance.
Where is Santa Rosa Beach?
Santa Rosa Beach is located on trendy 30-A in South Walton County between Seaside and Destin. If you are familiar with the area, the cottage is next to Gulf Place and near Goatfeather’s restaurant.
Does the cottage contain amenities I might expect if I were at home?
Yes, we have all the kitchen amenities you would expect.
What about televisions and stereos?
There is a Flat Screen Television in the Living Room and all Bedrooms.
Will we be able to grill out?
Yes, grilling is allowed and we have a gas grill for your use. The use of a charcoal grill is prohibited.
Can we bring our family pets?
Yes, Good To Go is pet -friendly. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $50.00 per pet.
Can my pet go on the beach?
Pets are required to have a permit to be allowed on the beach. Unfortunately, permits are only available to homeowners.
How do we reserve and pay for the cottage?
We require a $300.00 security or damage deposit to reserve your stay at the cottage. We will require 50% of the rental at least six weeks prior to your arrival and the other 50% of the rental at least three weeks prior to your arrival. The security/damage deposit will be refunded to you shortly after after your departure once we have confirmed that there is no damage to the cottage.
If you choose to pay by credit card we will not require the security deposit, but we will require payment of ½ of the rent at the time of booking. The other half is due three weeks before check in. We will email you an invoice that will allow you to pay on line with the card of your choice.
If we must cancel our plans can we get a refund?
All amounts once paid are non-refundable in the event that we are unable to obtain a replacement rental. Any replacement rentals that we are able to obtain will be credited against your rental agreement and you will be refunded those amounts. If you are worried about weather or other complications, I suggest travel insurance. Just do a “Google” search for trip or travel insurance or go to www.insuremytrip.com for a quotes and comparisons of up to 14 companies.
How will I get my keys?
Provided that you have paid all the rental amounts due, approximately one week before your arrival we will provide you with a code to the lock box that will contain a key for entry to the cottage. Once inside the cottage, additional keys will be provided for your stay.
Is there a minimum age for renting the cottage?
Yes, you must be at least 25 years of age in order to rent the Good to Go cottage.
Are there any additional charges besides the rental rate?
Yes, we must collect sales and occupancy tax in the amount of 11% of the rental. Also there is a pet fee of $50.00 per pet.
Will I have internet access?
Yes, you will have broadband internet access. Just bring your laptop with wireless capability or any computer with an ethernet connection.
Do you have any other cottages?
No.
Do you have minimum length stays?
Yes, between Memorial Day through the first week of August rentals are weekly only. At all other times, we require a three-night minimum.
